DESCRIPTION
Poliovin contains 8 antigens (inactivated bacteria and toxoids) in a single dose, providing comprehensive protection against multiple clostridial diseases.

INDICATIONS
Poliovin provides protection against the following diseases:
- Lamb dysentery (necrotic enterotoxaemia)
- Sudden death syndrome (enterotoxaemia)
- Pulpy kidney syndrome (enterotoxaemia)
- Black disease
- Braxy
- Malignant oedema
- Clostridial metritis
- Contagious foot rot
- Gangrenous mastitis
IMMUNITY INFORMATION
- At least 14 days after revaccination (second dose), antibody titers reach their highest level
- According to field trials data, the immunity lasts for at least one year
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Dose:
- Sheep and Goats: 2 mL
- Cattle and Camels: 5 mL
Administration Route:
The vaccine is administered exclusively subcutaneously (under the skin) into:
- The knee fold
- The neck area
- The chest behind the shoulder blade
Vaccination Schedule:

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- The 1st primary vaccination dose stimulates antibody production, but the level is often small and protection generally only lasts a few weeks before immunity declines.
- A 2nd dose of primary vaccination is required to boost immunity to protective levels.
- An annual booster every 12 months is recommended to maintain immunity levels.
